Baseball Game Preview: Waseca Bluejays vs. New Ulm Eagles

For the first time this season, Waseca will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the New Ulm Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Waseca lost 7-1 to Belle Plaine on Tuesday. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, New Ulm was able to grind out a solid victory over Mound-Westonka on Tuesday, taking the game 6-3.

Kyle Albrecht was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mitchell Hopp, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
