Basketball Recap: Mount Juliet Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Mount Juliet Christian Academy lost against Donelson Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints were dealt a 62-28 loss at the hands of the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats. The matchup marked the Saints' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Mount Juliet Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jude Beaty posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

Mount Juliet Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Donelson Christian Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Juliet Christian Academy and Friendship Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Donelson Christian Academy will take on Ezell-Harding Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
