Soccer Recap: New Hanover's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

New Hanover got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Brunswick Trojans a 1-0 shutout. Gracie Calderon had the honor of scoring the game-winner for New Hanover.

New Hanover's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7-1. As for West Brunswick, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.
