Softball Recap: Kingston Takes a Loss

Kingston lost against Bismarck back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Kingston lost 19-4 to Bismarck.

Kendal Blumenstock was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Even though they lost, Kingston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Kingston's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bismarck, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Kingston will challenge Ellington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bismarck, they will square off against Bourbon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
