Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Penncrest). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Upper Darby Royals a 10-0 shutout on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Nash Grant, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cooper Bittle, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-9. As for Upper Darby, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
