Bishop Lynch lost to Reedy back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Friars skirted past the Lions 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Friars.

Bishop Lynch wouldn't go down easily and took Reedy into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-24, 25-18, 13-25, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Reedy still got an impressive performance from Addison Smittle, who had nine digs and one assist.

Bishop Lynch's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Reedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Lynch is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Adams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reedy, they will take on Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Warriors have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
