Game recap: Cathedral Catholic High School Football Team defeats Scripps Ranch

Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, Calif.) beat Scripps Ranch (San Diego, Calif.) 42-3 after a strong game from Chris Moliga, who rushed for four touchdowns. Thanks to the stand out performance the senior now has six touchdowns on the season.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Joshua Gizzi in the first quarter, the Dons led 21-3 at the half.

Cathedral Catholic grew its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. CC scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown.

The Dons came into the game allowing 13.6 points per game. The Falcons came in surrendering 17.6 points per game this season. Scripps Ranch had a hard time against Cathedral Catholic's offense, which entered the game scoring 9.6 points per game.

The loss comes after Scripps Ranch defeated Point Loma 17-10 last week. The win brought Cathedral Catholic's winning streak to three games. The loss ended Scripps Ranch's two-game winning streak.
