The Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers were the 42-34 winner over the First Academy Lions when they last played one another on January 5th, but their luck changed this time around. Colquitt Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 43-42 to First Academy.

First Academy found their leader in underclassman Rylan Peacock, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Peacock has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jakson Bounds, who scored ten points along with five steals.

Colquitt Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for First Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Colquitt Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. First Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Community Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
