Blackman is 5-0 against Brentwood since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Both will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. Blackman is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Last Saturday, Blackman made easy work of Cascade and carried off a 45-24 win. The Blaze have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Brentwood entered their tilt with Stewarts Creek on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 72-64 victory over the Red Hawks. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Red Hawks are ranked 153rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Blackman's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Brentwood, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Blackman strolled past Brentwood in their previous meeting on December 6th by a score of 67-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blackman since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
