Mason Holowell posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out three batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Combs: the team is 2-0-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 1-11-1 otherwise.

Coming up, Holowell and Combs will host ALA - Queen Creek at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Holowell's big game helped the Coyotes snap a three-game streak of losses at home.
