With a playoff win on the line, Luther Prep rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Racine Lutheran Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Phoenix, who have now won ten matches in a row.

Emma Neyhart paced Luther Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Neyhart got some help from Lorelei Candler and her ten assists. Maya Spiegelberg and Hannah Fitzsimmons kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Racine Lutheran's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Schatzman, who had nine digs.

Luther Prep's victory bumped their record up to 31-3. As for Racine Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-15.

Luther Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cambridge on the 25th. Racine Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
