Baseball Game Preview: Loyola College Prep Flyers vs. Minden Crimson Tide

Loyola College Prep is 1-9 against Minden since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Loyola College Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Minden at 6:00 p.m.

Loyola College Prep is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since March 7th on Monday. They lost 14-3 to Ruston.

Loyola College Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Crossno, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Jake Black also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Minden earned a 4-1 win over Doyline on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Crimson Tide in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Loyola College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7-1. As for Minden, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Loyola College Prep couldn't quite finish off Minden in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can Loyola College Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
