Lafayette wins going away against Bluegrass United

Even though the Bluegrass United Bluehawks scored an imposing 60 points on Thursday, the Lafayette Generals still came out on top. Lafayette enjoyed a cozy 77-60 win over Bluegrass United. That's another feather in the cap for Lafayette, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Several Bluehawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Moore, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sammy King, who scored 12 points.

Lafayette is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Bluegrass United, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Lafayette will head out on the road to challenge Paris at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bluegrass United, they will be playing at home against Richmond HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Richmond HomeSchool is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
