Baseball Game Preview: Beaver Beavers vs. Milford Tigers

For the second straight game, Beaver will face off against Milford. The Beavers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Beaver has four straight victories, Milford has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Tuesday, Beaver earned a 5-2 win over Milford.

For Milford's part, Sadler Barnes was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Barnes was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Barnes wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kilo Tsosie, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Beaver's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Milford, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.
