Softball Game Preview: Grayling Vikings vs. Harbor Springs Rams

The Grayling Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Harbor Springs Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grayling has given up an average of 12.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Grayling's offense. They lost 17-0 to Cheboygan on Monday. The Vikings' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Harbor Springs came up short against Kingsley on Monday, falling 18-3. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Harbor Springs fell to 4-1. As for Grayling, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Grayling got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2023 against Harbor Springs by a conclusive 24-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
