Soccer Recap: Tarboro Falls to John Paul II Catholic in First Game of Season

Tarboro kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the John Paul II Catholic Saints, falling 7-1. Tarboro were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

The win (which was John Paul II Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Tarboro will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Martin County at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for John Paul II Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Croatan at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
