Soccer Recap: Tarboro Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Tarboro had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 7-1 to the John Paul II Catholic Saints on Thursday. Tarboro were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Jamarion Dickens.

The victory (which was John Paul II Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Tarboro will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Martin County at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for John Paul II Catholic, they will take on Croatan in a tournament on Friday.
