Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Washburn Millers 84-23. The match marked the Tommies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Washburn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

While Edison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
