Soccer Recap: Wimberley Comes Up Short

Wimberley was the 2-0 winner over Pleasanton when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wimberley Texans fell just short of the Pleasanton Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Wimberley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Pleasanton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Wimberley has already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Bandera on the 11th. As for Pleasanton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Gonzales at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
