Baseball Recap: Lloyd Memorial Takes a Loss

Lloyd Memorial lost against Dixie Heights back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Juggernauts took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colonels.

Lloyd Memorial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Landers, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Lloyd Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Dixie Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lloyd Memorial will challenge rival Ludlow at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dixie Heights is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
