Volleyball Game Preview: Freedom Christian Academy Patriots vs. Village Christian Academy Knights

The Freedom Christian Academy Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Village Christian Academy Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Freedom Christian Academy managed to slip by The O'Neal School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Falcons on Tuesday.

Freedom Christian Academy might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on The O'Neal School: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Village Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Crusaders as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Village Christian Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-15.

Freedom Christian Academy dropped their record down to 13-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Village Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.

Freedom Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Village Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
