Basketball Recap: Brownwood Comes Up Short

Brownwood lost against Brock back in November of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brownwood Lions lost 64-41 to the Brock Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Eagles are ranked 72nd).

Brownwood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 20-9 record this season. As for Brock, they pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Brownwood will welcome Mineral Wells at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brock, they will square off against Stephenville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Stephenville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Brock surely won't give up without a fight.
