Basketball Game Preview: East Bay Indians vs. McLean Highlanders

The East Bay Indians will take on the McLean Highlanders in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, East Bay turned things around against Woodward on Saturday. They breezed by the Polar Bears to the tune of 68-18. The game marked the Indians' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McLean). They were the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over Steinbrenner on Saturday. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 264th in Virginia, while the Warriors are ranked 599th in Florida), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Bay's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for McLean, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.
