Basketball Recap: Central Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 58-51 to the East Thunderbirds. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Central's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-9. As for East, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Thunder Basin the next time they take the court. East will head out to face Thunder Basin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Central will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
