Basketball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Danville

It's playoff time, and Danville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Champaign Central Maroons by a score of 46-34 on Tuesday. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 47-43 victory last Thursday.

When it comes to explaining why Champaign Central lost, don't look at Alex Parastaran. Despite the final result, she shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Parastaran a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Reid, who posted seven points.
