Basketball Recap: Moorefield Takes a Loss

Moorefield lost to Keyser back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets fell 45-37 to the Golden Tornado. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braylon McGreevy continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Keyser, shooting 73% from the field on his way to 16 points in addition to six boards and five steals. McGreevy's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Grayson Lambka, who posted 11 points.

Moorefield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Keyser, they pushed their record up to 6-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Moorefield has already played their next matchup, a 53-51 loss against Petersburg on the 23rd. As for Keyser, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-52 defeat against Frankfort on the 23rd.
