Softball Recap: St. Peter Saints vs. Fairmont Cardinals
In what's become a running theme this season, St. Peter gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fairmont Cardinals a 10-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what St. Peter needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
St. Peter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Fairmont, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-5.

As for Fairmont, they will head out on the road to challenge Marshall at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marshall's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Fairmont's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
