Baseball Recap: Frederick's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Frederick owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Temple Tigers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bombers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Carter Russell, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Maddox Enriquez also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Frederick now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Temple, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
