Volleyball Recap: Norton Science & Language Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against River Springs Charter School Magnolia

Norton Science & Language Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the River Springs Charter School Magnolia Falcons on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-17.

The win got River Springs Charter School Magnolia back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Norton Science & Language Academy will face off against Academy for Academic Excellence at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for River Springs Charter School Magnolia, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Calvary Baptist at 8:00 a.m. on the 23rd.
