Softball Recap: Rockledge Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Rockledge and Lake Wales squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Rockledge had to settle for second. They lost 8-2 to the Highlanders. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockledge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ahraya Dalaq, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Rockledge's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Lake Wales, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Rockledge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Wales, they will take on Lake Region at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Highlanders 3.6, the Thunder 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
