After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Palestine, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Greenfield-Central Cougars 3-2. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Indianapolis Scecina Memorial was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 15-8.

Mykeyla Dickerson paced Indianapolis Scecina Memorial's offense, picking up 14 kills. Dickerson got some help from Makayla Martin and her 47 assists. Olivia Anglemyer and Payton Copass kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Greenfield-Central still got an impressive performance from Addi Rugenstein, who had 19 digs and two aces.

The win got Indianapolis Scecina Memorial back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial will take on Southport at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Greenfield-Central, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Greensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
