Baseball Game Preview: Beecher Bobcats vs. Iroquois West Raiders

It was a proper cat-fight when Beecher took on Gardner-South Wilmington on Monday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 5-1. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Iroquois West came up short against Ridgeview on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Iroquois West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Alvarez, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Beecher's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Iroquois West, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
