Volleyball Game Preview: Mercer County Golden Eagles vs. Sherrard Tigers + How To Watch

Mercer County hasn't had much luck against Sherrard recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Mercer County came up short against Riverdale and fell 2-0.

While Mercer County ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Sherrard and Monmouth-Roseville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Titans on Thursday. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Titans on their court since October 19, 2021.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sherrard took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15.

Sherrard's victory bumped their record up to 26-4-1. As for Mercer County, their loss dropped their record down to 16-16.
