Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles 91-18. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on six straight.

Marlin's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.1 points per game. As for Bruceville-Eddy, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Coincidentally, Marlin and Bruceville-Eddy will both be playing Riesel the next time they take the court. Bruceville-Eddy will host Riesel at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Marlin will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
