Soccer Recap: Waxahachie Starts off Right with Win over Smithson Valley

Waxahachie had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Smithson Valley Rangers a 3-0 shutout.

Waxahachie will be taking part in a tournament against Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Smithson Valley, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Arlington Heights at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
