Basketball Recap: Hollister Comes Up Short

Hollister was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Watsonville Wildcatz. The Haybalers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcatz apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Hollister now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Watsonville, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

While Hollister had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
