Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnstown-Monroe). They were the clear victors by a 16-10 margin over the Utica Redskins on Monday. The Johnnies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Riley Stefanick made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Addy Zak was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Reese Lyons, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Johnstown-Monroe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
