Baseball Game Preview: Ste. Genevieve Dragons vs. Herculaneum Black Cats

The Ste. Genevieve Dragons will venture away from home to square off against the Herculaneum Black Cats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Ste. Genevieve put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over Perryville. The victory was some much needed relief for the Dragons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Herculaneum got the win against Potosi on Saturday by a conclusive 14-1. The result was nothing new for the Black Cats, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ste. Genevieve's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Herculaneum, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
