Basketball Preview: Onsted Wildcats vs. Hudson Tigers
The Onsted Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hudson Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Onsted has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Thursday, Onsted was the victim of a rough 63-43 loss at the hands of the Hornets.
JayElle Christian put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Borders, who scored three points along with eight steals and five assists.
Meanwhile, Hudson came up short against the Redwolves on Thursday and fell 49-39. Hudson has not had much luck with the Redwolves recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Onsted has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Hudson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
Onsted beat the Tigers 43-31 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Will Onsted repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
