Basketball Game Preview: New Haven Rockets vs. Hazel Park Vikings

The New Haven Rockets will head out on the road to square off against the Hazel Park Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Haven knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Hazel Park likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, New Haven made easy work of Almont and carried off a 64-38 win.

Meanwhile, Hazel Park ended up a good deal behind Lincoln-King Academy on Monday and lost 65-47. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Haven's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Hazel Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
