Rockdale County came into Friday's game looking for another win against Grovetown, but Marcus Curry wouldn't allow it. The Grovetown Warriors took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 78-50 victory over the Rockdale County Bulldogs thanks in part to Curry, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Grovetown is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Rockdale County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Grovetown and Rockdale County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Grovetown will square off against Newton at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th down 44 places (51 vs. 7). Similarly, Rockdale County (ranked 114th) will meet South Gwinnett (ranked 30th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
