Basketball Recap: Hardaway Extends Winning Streak to Six

Hardaway extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Rhianna Boynton. The Hardaway Hawks blew past the Carver Tigers 69-39 on Saturday thanks in part to Boynton, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and ten boards. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Akilah Shelton, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more boards the last four times she's played.

Hardaway has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Carver, they moved to 9-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Hardaway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-41 victory against Sumter County on the 4th. Carver has also already played their next match, a 69-59 win against Columbus on the 3rd.
