NBA Draft: State-by-state look at where every pick played high school basketball

Perennial Sunshine State powerhouse Montverde Academy produced four picks on its own, including No. 1 overall Cooper Flagg.

Florida finished with the most former high school players selected in the 2025 NBA Draft with seven.

Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) had four first round picks on its own from the 2024 undefeated national champion squad in Cooper Flagg, Liam McNeeley, Asa Newell and Derik Queen.

California was second with four including first-round picks Carter Bryant and Cedric Coward.

Georgia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania tied for third with three selections each. Dylan Harper leads New Jersey while Pennsylvania is paced by Will Riley. The top selection from the Peach State was fifth overall pick Ace Bailey.

In total, 19 states had at least one selection.

Montverde Academy and AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.) were the only schools to have multiple players selected. Jeremiah Fears was the top draft pick from AZ Compass at No. 7 overall while Javon Small went in the second round.
