The third road contest was the charm for Lake Oconee Academy, as they earned their first away win of the season. They escaped with a win on Saturday against the Georgia Military College Bulldogs by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Lake Oconee Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ansleigh Padgett, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 boards. That makes it six consecutive games in which Padgett has scored at least a third of the Titans' points. Melly Cheeley was another key player, putting up ten points.

Lake Oconee Academy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Georgia Military College, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
