Baseball Game Preview: Unity Christian Knights vs. Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets

The Unity Christian Knights will face off against the Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Unity Christian comes in on eight and Estherville Lincoln Central on three.

On Saturday, Unity Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Pocahontas, taking the game 8-3.

Meanwhile, Estherville Lincoln Central posted their closest victory since June 24th on Saturday. They skirted past Forest City 7-5.

Estherville Lincoln Central pushed their record up to 18-9 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Unity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 25-9.

Unity Christian skirted past Estherville Lincoln Central 3-2 in their previous matchup back in July of 2024. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Midgets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
