Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity). They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Fall River Bulldogs on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Owen C spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 14 Ks.
On the hitting side, Trinity got a big performance out of Wambli W, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Wayne Woodman, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
