Soccer Recap: Southwest EC Extends Winning Streak to Four

After losing to Bishop the last time they met, Southwest EC decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Southwest EC Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bishop's Knights on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. The Eagles wouldn't have won without EDGAR GERMAN, who scored the game-winner.

The victory (which was Southwest EC's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Bishop's, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Southwest EC will take on Granite Hills in a tournament on Saturday. As for Bishop's, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Preuss UCSD at 3:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
