Soccer Recap: Chief Leschi Comes Up Short

Chief Leschi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Montesano Bulldogs. Cecelia HairyChin-Runnels was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Chief Leschi's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Montesano, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chief Leschi will welcome Raymond/South Bend at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chief Leschi will need to watch out since Raymond/South Bend has now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Montesano, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ilwaco at 6:00 p.m. on April 8.
