Soccer Recap: Morgan vs. Tri-Valley
Morgan didn't have done well against Tri-Valley recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Morgan Raiders had just enough and edged the Tri-Valley Scotties out 3-2. The Raiders wouldn't have won without Braylon Miller, who scored the game-winner.
The win (which was Morgan's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3-1. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan will face off against Marietta at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Marietta will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Morgan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tri-Valley, they will take on Maysville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maysville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.3 goals per game this season.
