Softball Recap: Henley Beats Phoenix for Their Fourth Straight Win

Henley had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Phoenix Pirates. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 13-5 win back in April.

Henley's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Phoenix, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Henley nor Phoenix have any future games scheduled.
